Ardha-Māgadhi differs in many respects from Māhārāṣtrī e. g. locative in msi; (M. has-mmi) dative in ttae, infinitives in ttae,-ittae, gerunds in tta,-ttānam,-cca,-ccanam, and so on. A clearer view of the structure of the language is given in Mr. Banarsi Das' sketch of the grammar appended here with.
