વિશેના એમના પ્રવચનમાં કહે છે: “You know, my brothers and sisters, that we are not an independent nation; We are subjects of Her Gracious Majesty Queen Victoria ibe defender of the: faith', but if we were a nation in all that, name implies with our own government and our own rulers, with our laws and institutionscontrolled by us free and independent, I affirm that we should seek to establish and for ever maintain peaceful relations with alb the nations of the world." . - શ્રી વીરચંદભાઈને એટલો બધો પ્રભાવ પડયો કે વિશ્વધર્મ પરિષદના આવાહકે અને વિદ્વાનોએ એમને રૌયચંદ્રક એનાયત કર્યો હતિ. એ પછી ૧૮૯૪ની ૮મી ઓગષ્ટ કાસાડેગા શહેરના નાગરિ કેએ એમને સુવર્ણચંદ્રક આપ્યો હતા. એમણે આ શહેરમાં “Some mistake corrected” અંગે પ્રવચન આપ્યું હતું. અને એ પ્રવચન પૂરું થયા પછી ફરી ફરી પ્રવચન કરવાનું કહેવામાં આવ્યું એમ બોલો કેરીયર” અખબાર નેંધે છે. અમેરિકામાં એમણે The Gandhi Philosophical Society” અને “The School of Oriental Philosophy' નામની બે સંસ્થાની સ્થાપના કરી. શિકાગોમાં “Society for the Education of women of India” નામની સંસ્થા સ્થાપી. આ સંસ્થાના મંત્રી શ્રીમતી હાવર્ડ હતા કે જેમણે વીરચંદભાઈની પ્રેરણાથી શુહ શાકાહાર અને ચુસ્ત જૈન ધર્મ અપનાવ્યા હતા. સ્વામી વિવેકાનંદનાં શિષ્યા ભગિની નિવેદિતાની જેમ શ્રીમતી હાવર્ડ વીરચંદભાઈના શિષ્યા બની ગયાં અને તેઓ જેનેની જેમ વિધિસર સામાયિક પણ કરતાં હતાં.
