________________ SAMAYSAKA 230 395 Taste is not knowledge, because taste knows not any thing Therefore the Jinas have said that knowledge is entirely different from taste फासो णाण ण हवइ जम्हा फासो ण याणए किचि । तम्हा अण्ण णाण अण्ण फास जिणा विति ॥३९६॥ Phāso nānam na havayı jamha phaso na yanaye kimchi Tamhā annam nānam annam phāsam jinâ vinti (96) स्पर्शो ज्ञान न भवति यस्मात्स्पर्शो न जानाति किञ्चित् । तस्मादन्यज्ज्ञानमन्य स्पर्श जिना वदन्ति ॥३९६॥ 396 Touch is not knowledge, because touch knows not anything Therefore the Jinas have said that knowledge is entirely different from touch कम्म णाण ण हवइ जम्हा कम्म ण याणए किचि । तम्हा अण्ण णाण अण्ण कम्म जिणाविति ॥३९७॥ Kammam nānam na havayı jamhā kammam na yānaye kimchi Tamha annam nānam annam kammam jinā vinti (397) कर्म ज्ञान न भवति यस्मात्कर्म न जानाति किञ्चित् । तस्मादन्यज्ज्ञानमन्यत्कर्म जिना वदन्ति ॥३९७॥ 397 Karma is not knowledge, because karma knows not anything Therefore the Jinas have said that knowledge is catirely different from karma धम्मो णाण ण हवइ जम्हा धम्मो ण याणए किचि । तम्हा अण्ण णाण अण्ण धम्म जिणा विति ॥३९८॥ Dhammo nānam na havayı jamhā dhammo na yanayo kimchi Tamha annam nānam annam dhammam jină vinti (398) धर्मो ज्ञान न भवति यस्माद्धर्मो न जानाति किञ्चित् । तस्मादन्यज्ज्ञानमन्य धर्म जिना वदन्ति ॥३९८॥ 398 Principle of motion is not knowledge, because the principle of motion knows not anything Therefore thc Jinas have said that knowledge is entirely different from the principlc of motion णाणमधम्मो•ण हवदि जम्हाऽधम्मो ण याणए किंचि । तम्हा अण्ण णाण अण्णमधम्म जिणा विति ॥३९९।।
