SAMAYSARA
Damsananānā charittam kimchivi nathi du acheyana kamme Tamha kim ghadayade chedayida tamhi kammammi (367)
दर्शनज्ञानचरित्र किञ्चिदपि नास्ति त्वचेतने कर्मणि ।
तस्मारिक घातयति चेतयिता तत्र कर्मणि ॥३६७।। 367 There is no faith, knowledge or conduct whatsoever in non-intelligent kormic material, therefore what does the soul destroy in those karmas ?
दसणणाणचरित्त किचिवि णत्थि दु अचेयणे काये ।
तम्हा कि घादयदे चेदयिदा तेसु कायेसु ॥३६८॥ Damsananana chavittam kimchivi nathi du acheyane kāye Tamhā kim ghādayade chedayıdā tesu kāyesu (368)
दर्शनज्ञानचरित्र किञ्चिदपि नास्ति त्वचेतने काये।
तस्मात् कि घातयति चेतयिता तेषु कायेषु ॥३६८॥ 368 There is no faith, knowledge, or conduct whatsoever in non-intelligent body, therefore what does the soul destroy in those bodies?
णाणस्स दसणस्स य भणिओ घाओ तहा चरित्तस्स।
णवि तम्हि पोग्गलदव्वस्स कोऽवि घाओउ णिहिट्ठो।।३६९।। Nanassa damsanassa ya bhanivo ghāva tahā charittassa Navi tamhi paggladavvssa koapı ghavovu niddittho (369)
ज्ञानस्य दर्शनस्य च भणितो घातस्तथा चारित्रस्य ।
नापि तत्र पुद्गलद्रव्यस्य कोऽपि घातस्तु निर्दिष्ट ॥३६९।। 369 Destruction of knowledge, faith and conduct (of the erroneous kind by the soul) is spoken of, but destiuction of matter is never indicated
जीवस्स जे गुणा केई णत्थि खलु ते परेसु दव्वेसु ।
तम्हा सम्मादिट्ठिस्स एत्थि रागो उ विसएसु ॥३७०।। Jivassa je gunā keyi nathi kalu te paresu davvesu Tamha sammaditthissa nathi rāgo vu visayesu (370)
जीवस्य ये गुणा केचिन्न सन्ति खलु ते परेषु द्रव्येषु ।
तस्मात्सम्यग्दृष्टेर्नास्ति रागस्तु विषयेषु ॥३७०॥ 970 Whatever attributes are present in a soul, those are certainly not present in other substances, therefore in a right believer there is no attraction for sense objects
