The author further explains the characteristics of missankha or doubtlessness (one of the constituents of right belief) जो चत्तारि वि पाए छिददि ते 'कम्ममोहबाधकरे । सो णिस्सको चेदा सम्मादिट्ठी मुणेयव्वो ॥२२९॥
Jo chattarivi paye chchindadi te kammamoha vadhakare So nissanko cheda sammadithi mune yavvo (229)
यश्चतुरोऽपि पादान् छिनत्ति तान् कर्ममोहबाधकरान् ।
स निश्शडकश्चेतयिता सम्यग्दृष्टिर्मन्तव्य ॥ २२९॥
CHAPTER VII
229 He who cuts the four feet (wrong-belief, non-discipline, soul-soiling grose emotions, and psycho-physical activity) of what produces karma, delusion, and suffering is the non-doubting right beliver
COMMENTARY
Hence the Self which is non-doubting is free from bondage resulting from doubt He has only to shed the karmas previously acquired
Next the quality of nish-kanksha or desirelessness is described दु ण करेदि कख कम्मफलेसु तहयी सव्वधम्मेसु । सो णिक्कखो चेदा सम्मादिट्ठी मुणेयव्वो ॥ २३०॥

Jo du na karedi kankham kammaphale su taha savvadhammesu
So nikkankkho cheda sammadıtthi mune yavvo

यस्तु न करोति काङक्षा कर्मफलेषु तथा च सर्वधर्मेषु । स निष्काक्षश्चेतयिता सम्यग्दृष्टिर्मन्तव्य ॥ २३० ॥
230 He who evinces no desire for pleasures resulting from karmas or for all qualities of things must be understood to be a desire-free right believer
COMMENTARY
The Self which is free from desire is ipso facto free from
