________________ [..77 ] is the state of Mala or obscuration which deprives it of its existence as are with Siva. This is from time immemorial and has no beginning in the past but it is not eternal as it is sure to disappear after the functioning of the Divine Grace. The existence of this basic impurity or Mala which is like the substantial impurity of the eye in the case of a patient suffering from the cataract, cannot be ignored but this impure substance in the Divine Eye of the soul can be removed by operation as it were by a skilful wurgeon.
