In this case it would appear that the lady in question had been able to describe the house by means of the sense perception we call psychometry, an extension of normal
consciousness.
In a series of remarkable communications received by Marjorie Livingstone and published under the title "The New Nuctemeron", it is stated that the spirit returns to earth for reincarnation of its free will, and that this occurrence is not so uncommon as many believe. The motive for this return in some cases is the desire to accomplish certain projects, in others to adjust wrongs done to others previously in earth life, or to gain further experience.
