Savatthi—a city
Sāvatthi or Kunālānayari was the capital of Kuņālā, one of the twenty five and a half Aryan countries. It was included among the ten capitals. It is stated that Săvatthi was the birthplace of the third Titthayara, who received his first alms here.720 It was visited by Pasa727 and his follower Kesikumāra 798 Sāvatthi was also visited by Mahavira frcquently 720 It was also visited by Gosāla,780 Jar

It is identified with Sahel-Mahet on the bank of the Rapti.783
Savvaobhadda-a city
It is mentioned that kingsiyasattu ruled here.784 Its situation is not known.
Sayaduvāra a city
It is said that this town was situated in the country of Punda which lay at the foot of the mountain Veyaddha 135 It is stated that to the south-east of the town there lay a city known as Vijayavaddhamāņa. 138

It is mentioned that king Selaga joined the ascetic order herc. 'The city was also visited by the monk Thāvaccāputta, who is stated to have arrived here from Bāravai and preached his religion 797

It is mentioned that this town was situated in Tosali. Isitadäga was a lake in this city where people are said to have celebrated the eight days feast (See Isitalāga).
