Kusumapura-a city
Kusumapura was another name for Padaliputta. 430
It is m'ntioned that once a famine broke out in Kusumapura, 37 The town was visited by Vairasāmi. 38
Küviya-a settlement
It is said that Mahāvīra arrived here from Tambāya and proceeded to Vesalı 439
Its exact situation is not known. Ladha or Rātha—a kingdom
Kodivarisa was the capital of Ladha, one of the twenty five and a half Āryan countries It is said that Mahāvīra arrived here from Kalambuka Sannivesa and procecded to Punnakalasa. Lädha was divided into Vajiabhūmi and Subhhabhūmi 440
Ladha or Radha comprises the modern districts of Hooghly, Howrah, Bankura, Burdwan and the east portions of Midnapore.44)
