________________ ( iv ) central doctrine of the Jain philosophy and by means of which one acquires the full and complete knowledge of any state of things from different and diverse points of view. It is because of this that syadvada is also called Apekantavada or Apekshavada. Western: scholars have freely showered praises and: highly eulogised the doctrine of syadvada. They believe even to this extent that this. doctrine is a great unifying force in this world. and by its practice all the mutual dissensions. and differences of thoughts can be reconciled: satisfactorily. It is for this reason that syadvada is called a "compromising system of philosophy.** Sapekshavada the theory of relativity of Dr. Einstein, the greatest of the world scientists is in many parts only a reflection or a mere shadow of the doctrine of syadvada. In short, Syadvada is the best means of arriving at the truth or of ascertaining fundamental principles. and it is because of this that the Jain philosopby is at the helm of all philosophies.
