बहुपुत्रयुते प्रेते भ्रातृषु क्लीयतादियुक् । स्याच्चेत्सर्वे समान्भागान दद्युः पैतृकाद्धनात् ।। ६७॥
When a man dies, leaving many sons, and any of tho brothers be affected by impotency, etc., then there should not be an equal division to all out of the property of the father.
पंगुरुन्मत्तक्लीवान्धखलकुब्जजडास्तथा। पतेपि भ्रातृभिः पाण्या न च पुत्रांशभागिनः॥ ६८॥
Those who are lame, lunatic, impotent, blind, ricious, hunch-backed, and idiotic should be looked after by their brothers, but they are not ontitled to a son's sharo (in patrimony).
मृतबध्वाधिकारीशो वोधितव्यो मृदूक्तितः। न मन्येत पुरा भूयोऽमात्यादिभ्यः प्रवोधयेत् ॥ ६९॥ भूयापि तादृशः स्याच्चेदमात्याज्ञानुसारतः। पुरातनो नूतनो वा निष्कास्यो गृहतः स्फुटम् ॥ ७० ॥
The manager shall be counselled by thc widow in persuasive language (stect words). If he does not listen to the advice, lie aliould in the first instance bc counselled through the King, and his officers, etc. If he does the same again, then, with the consent of the officers of the king, hc should, whether old or nei, be publicly expelled from the house.
रक्षणीयं प्रयत्नेन भव स्वं कुलस्त्रियः। ___ कार्यतेन्यजन-ग्यैर्व्यवहारकुलागतः ॥ ७१॥
