The minister told them that as he was dying before having rebuilt the temples of Vimalachala and Bhrigucatchba, he could not contain his grief. His soldiers told him that his sons Vägbhata and Āmrabhats would carry out his plans. Udayana then asked them to call to his presence an ascetic that he might confess all his sins before him. They, however, not finding one, disguised a servant as an ascetic and carried him to the minister, Udayana then made his anal act of faith and passed away.14 When Kumarapala heard of Udayana's death, he was much grieved 15 Udayana is said to have built Udayanavıhara in Karnivati. Another Jain minister of Siddharija was Asuka. He was, beyond doubt, a Mahamatya or prime minister between V.
