सन्नालपात्रसम्पूर्णपूतशीतलवारिणा ।
तद्वनिवेद्य दत्तेन कुर्यादाचमनं ततः ॥८९ ॥ .. इसके बाद वर उत्तम भंगार ( झारी) में भरे हुएं तथा पहलेकी तरह आदरपूर्वकं दिये हुए पवित्र और शीतल जलसे आचमन करे !! ८९ ॥
मधुपर्क। कांस्यतालास्थितं त्यक्तकांस्यपात्रपिधानकम् ।
प्राशयेन्मधुपर्काथ दधि तद्वत्समंत्रकम् ॥ ९॥ . अनन्तर ऊपरका ढक्कन हटाकर, काँसेके वर्तनमें रक्खा हुआ दही और शक्कर, मधुपर्कके लिए, मंत्रपूर्वक, आचमनकी तरह, वरको प्राशन करावे । वह मंत्र यह है:-॥ ९॥
मंत्र-ॐ हीं भगवतो महापुरुषस्य पुरुषवरपुण्डरीकस्य परमेण तेजसा व्यासलोकस्य लोकोत्तरमङ्गलस्य मङ्गलस्वरूपस्य संस्कृत्य पादावर्थेनाभिजनेनानुकृत्याय उदवसितचत्वरेऽभ्यागतायाभियोगवयोमधुपर्काय समदत्तिसमन्वितायाध्यस्य पाघस्य विधिमाप्ताय दध्यमृतं विश्राण्यते जामात्रे अमुष्मै ॐ । इति मन्त्रयेत् ।
इस मंत्रको पढ़कर दही और शक्करको मंत्रित करे।
मंत्र-ॐ नमोऽहते भगवते मुख्यमंगलाय प्राप्तामृताय कुमारं दध्यमृत प्राशयामि झं वह असि आ उ सा स्वाहा । इति मधुपर्कमन्त्रः । त्रिः भाशयेत् । यह मंत्र पढ़कर तीन वार दही और शक्कर प्राशन करावे ।
वरको वस्त्रालंकार, दान । मालाभरणवस्त्राचैरलङ्कृत्य वरं ततः।
कन्यानाने प्रदद्यात्तद्वस्त्रं तेन धृतं पुरा ॥ ९१ ।। इस विधिक हो चुकने बाद कन्याका पिता माला, आभूषण, वस्त्र आदिसे वरको अलंकृत करे। वर जो कपड़े पहले पहने रहता है उन्हें उतारकर कन्याके भाईको दे दे ।। ९१ ॥
कन्याको वस्खालंकार दान । वरानीतैस्तु सदर्भूषणैश्च स्रगादिभिः।
स्नातामभोजनां कन्यां पिताऽलङ्कारयेत्ततः ॥ ९२ ॥ अनन्तर जो स्नानकर चुकी हो और भोजन न किया हो ऐसी उस कन्याको उसका पिता, वरकी ओरसे लाये हुए वस्त्रों, आभूषणों और मालाओंसे अच्छी तरह अलंकृत करे ....९२ ॥
यज्ञोपवीत ग्रहण । . पुनराचमनं कृत्वा ताम्बूलाक्षतचन्दनः ।.. . ' यज्ञोपवीतवस्त्राणि स्वीकुर्याच वरोत्तमः ॥ ९३॥ .
