बर्तन-शुद्धि। भाजनानि मृदां यानि पुरागाने तु सन्त्यजेत् । धातुभाण्डानि वस्त्राणि क्षालनाच्छुचितां नये ॥ १०९ ॥ दद्यात्तु प्रथमे क्षनं षष्ठे वा पञ्चमेऽप वा।।
दशमे देवपूजा स्यादनदानं तथा बलिः॥ ११० ॥ प्रसूतिके समय जिन बर्तन-कपड़ों आदि में स्पर्श हुआ हो उनमेंसे मिट्टोके बर्तनोंको तो फेंक दे, तांवे पीतल आदि धातुक बर्तन और कपड़े मांजने-धोनम शुद्ध होते हैं। पहले दिन, छठे दिन अथवा पांचवें दिन भी दान देवे। दश दिन देवपूजा, आहारदान और बालदान करे ॥१०९-११०॥
मंत्र-ॐ हीं श्रीं क्लीं हूँ हाँ हा मानानुजानुमजो भवभव असि आ उ सा स्वाहा ।

नामकर्म-विधि । द्वादशे षोडशे विंशे द्वात्रिंशे दिवसेऽपि वा । नामकर्म स्वजातीनां कर्तव्यं पूर्वमार्गतः॥ १११ ॥ द्वात्रिंशदिवसाचं यावत्संवत्सरं भवेत् । नामकर्म तदा कार्यमिति कैश्चिदुदीरितम् ॥ ११२॥ कृत्वा होयं जिनेन्द्रार्चा शुभेऽन्हि श्रीजिनालये। स्वगृहे वा ततो भक्त्या महावाद्यानि घोषयेत् ।। ११३ ॥ सुपीठे दम्पती तौ च सवृतौ भूषणान्वितौ । .
निवेश्य सेचयेत्सरिःपुण्याहवचनैः परैः।। ११४ ॥ जन्मके बारहवें, सोलहवे; बीसवें अथवा बत्तीसवें दिन अपनी कुलपरंपराके अनुसार नामकर्म विधि करें। बालकका नाम रखनेको नामकर्म विधि कहते हैं। यदि बत्तीसवें दिन नामकर्म विधि न कर सके तो फिर जब एक वर्ष पूरा हो जाय तब करे, ऐसा भी किसी २ का कहना है । इस विधिमें भी शुभ दिनमें जिनमन्दिर अथवा अपने घरमें भक्तिभावसे होम और जिनपूजा करे तथा बाजे बजबाबे । और दोनों पति-पत्नी तथा पुत्रको कपड़े गहने आदिसे सजाकर अच्छी चौकीपर बैठाकर पुण्याहवचनों द्वारा गृहस्थाचार्य उनका सेचन करे ॥ १११-११४ ॥
