असम्मार्जितमुद्धूलि मृताङ्गि धूमसंवृतम् । मलिनं वस्त्रपात्रादि युक्ता स्त्री: पूर्णगर्भिणी ॥ सूतकिगृहसन्धिस्थो म्लेच्छशब्दो ऽतिनिष्ठुरः । तिष्ठन्ति यत्र शालायां भुक्तिस्तत्र निषिध्यते ॥ १५२ ॥
जहां पर विष्टा पड़ा हो, मूत्र पड़ा हो, जूठे वर्तन रक्खे हों, पपि, चमड़ा, हड्डी और खून पढ़े हों, गोबर पड़ा हो, कीचड़ हो, दुर्गन्ध आती हो, अन्धकार हो, रोगसे पीड़ित मनुष्य हों, जो जगह झाड़-पोंछकर साफ की हुई न हो, धूला - कूड़ा-करकट डला हो, प्राणियोंके टूटे हुए अवयव इधर उधर पड़े हों, जो जगह चारों ओर धूएंसे आच्छादित हो रही हो, जिस मकान की दीवालों और छत वगैरह पर धूआं जमा हुआ हो, मैले-कुचैले कपड़े वर्तन आदिसे भरी पड़ी हो, जहां पूर्ण गर्भवती स्त्री बैठी हो वहां भोजन न करे। जिस मकानकी दीवाल वगैरह सूतकी के मकानकी दीवाल वगैरह से चिपटी हो अथवा सूतक जिस घरमें हो वहांपर भोजन न करे। जहांपर नीच लोगों के कठोर शब्द सुनाई पड़ते हों ऐसी जगहमें बैठकर भोजन न करे ॥ १५०-१५२ ॥
पंक्तिमें सामिल होने योग्य मनुष्य । पंक्त्या युक्तो नरो ज्ञेयो रोगमुक्तः कुलीनकः । स्नातोऽनुत्रतिकः पूर्णावयवो विमलाम्बरः । - १५३ ॥ सर्वेन्द्रियेषु सन्तुष्टो निर्विकारश्च धर्मदृक् । निर्गर्यो ब्रह्मचारी वा गृहस्थः श्लाघ्यवृत्तिकः ॥ १५४ ॥

एक पक्तिमें बैठकर भोजन करने योग्य मनुष्य ऐसा होना चाहिए कि जो नीरोग हो, कुलीन हो, स्नान किया हुआ हो, अपने योग्य व्रतोंको पालनेवाला हो, जिसके शारीरिक अवयव परिपूर्ण हों - ठूला लंगड़ा अन्धा न हो, जो स्वच्छ कपड़े पहने हो, जिसकी सब इन्द्रियां सन्तुष्ट हों, जो विकार - रहित हो, जिसकी धर्मपर श्रद्धा हो, जो गर्वयुक्त न हो, ब्रह्मचारी हो और जिसकी आजीविका प्रशंसनीय हो ऐसा गृहस्थी हो ।। १५३ ॥ १५४ ॥
पंक्ति सामिल न होने योग्य मनुष्य । पंक्त्ययोग्यं ततो वक्ष्ये विजातीयो दुरात्मकः । मलयुक्ताम्बरोऽस्नातच्छिन्नाङ्गः परिनिन्दकः || १५५ ।। 'वासी कासी व्रणी कुष्टी पीनसच्छर्दिरोगिणः । मिथ्यादृष्टिर्विकारी व उन्मत्तः परिहासकः ॥ १५६ ॥ असन्तुष्टश्च पाषण्डी लिङ्गी भ्रष्टः कुवादिकः । सप्तव्यसनसंयुक्तो दुराचारो दुराशयः ॥ १५७ ॥ चतुः कषायिको दीनो निर्घृणाङ्गोऽभिमान्यपि ।
