पत्थर के टुकडोंसे उस गढ़ेकां पूरकर उसे पहली जमीनके बराबर समतल कर दे। इस प्रकार लोक व्यवहार और वास्तुशास्त्रको जाननेवाला गिरस्त दिशाओंका विचार कर जिनमन्दिर बनवाना आरंभ करे || १३|| १४ ॥
प्रतिष्ठादिषु शास्त्रेषु यदुक्तं गेहलक्षणम् । तेन मार्गेण संस्कुर्याजिनागारं शुभावहम् ॥

प्रतिष्ठादिशास्त्रों में जो मकान बनवानेका लक्षण कहा गया है उसीके अनुसार शुभको देनेवाला जिनमन्दिर बनवावे ॥१५॥
मूलेषु पारदं क्षिप्त्वा श्रीखण्डं कुंकुमं तथा । प्रथमं स्थापयेद्गर्भे कोणेषु च चतुष्टयम् ॥ १६ ॥ तेषामुपरि संस्थाप्य शिलाः पञ्च यथाक्रमम् । पृथद्मन्त्रैश्च सम्पूज्य पञ्चानां परमेष्ठिनाम् ॥ १७ ॥ दानं ततादियुक्तानां दत्वा सन्मानपूर्वकम् । सर्वविघ्नोपशान्त्यर्थं स्वक्षेत्रे भ्रमयेद्वलिम् ॥ १८ ॥
पाया भरने के पत्थर रखनेकी जगहपर पारा, घिसाहुआ चन्दन, तथा कुंकुंम रखकर उनके ऊपर यथाक्रम से पांच पत्थर रक्खे उनमेंसे एक पत्थर उठा कर प्रथम मध्यमें रक्खे. और चार पत्थर जुदा जुदा चारों कोनों में रक्खे बाद पंच परमेष्ठीकी पृथक् पृथक् मंत्रोंद्वारा पूजा कर कारीगरोंको आव-आदरपूर्वक इनाम देकर सारे विघ्नोंकी शान्तिके लिए उस क्षेत्रकी पूजा करे ॥ १६ ॥ १७ ॥ १८ ॥
