· जहाँसे सभी जातिके मनुष्य आते जाते हों ऐसे रास्ते पर तथा जहाँपर जूठन, विष्टा, मूत्र आदि अपवित्र चीजें डाली जाती हों वहाँ पर मकान न बनवावे । तथा वेश्या, चौर, व्याघ्र आदिके सम्बन्धको भी दूरहीसे छोड़े ॥ १८॥
उत्तमस्थानमालोक्य सर्पादिपरिवर्जितम् ।
रम्यं तत्र गृहं कुर्याद्यथाद्रव्यं यथारूचि ॥ १९॥ सदि दुष्ट जन्तुओंसे रहित उत्तमस्थानको पसंद कर अपने विभव और रुचिके अनुसार सुन्दर मकान बनवावे ॥ १९॥
रेणुपाषाणनीरान्त खनयेत्पृथिवीतलम् ।
शखखपरचर्मास्थिविण्मूत्रं दूरतस्त्यजेत् ॥ २० ॥ मकानकी नीव इतनी गहरी खोदे जिसमेंसे कॅकरीली मिट्टी, पत्थर ओर पानी निकलने लग जाय । तथा शंख, खपरे, चर्म, हड्डी, विष्टा और मूत्रको दूर ही छोड़े अर्थात् जहाँपर ये चीजें डाली जाती हो वहाँ मकान न बनवावे ॥ २० ॥
पाषाणैश्चेष्टकामृद्भिचूर्णैर्वध्यते दृढम् ।
सुदिने सुमुहूते वा जिनपूजापुरस्सरम् ॥ २१॥ उत्तम दिन और उत्तम मुहूर्तमें जिनेन्द्र देवकी पूजा-पूर्वक ईंट, चूना पत्थर और मिट्टीसे बहुत मजबूत मकान चिनवावे ॥ २१ ॥
भुक्तिशालाग्निदिक्कोणे नैर्ऋत्यां शयनस्थलम् । यायव्यां स्नानगेहं स्यादीशान्यां जिनमन्दिरम् ॥ २२ ॥ पश्चिमे चित्रशाला तु नानाजनसमाश्रया । दक्षिणे तु जलस्थानं ह्युत्तरे श्रीधनाश्रयः ॥ २३॥ पूर्वस्यां निर्गमद्वारं घण्टातोरणभूषितम् । मध्ये नृत्यन्ति नर्तक्यो गीतहास्यविनोदकैः ॥ २४ ॥ सदनस्य बहिर्भागे शाला गोधनसंभृता ।
