plains गन्धद्रव्याणां उपलकुष्टादीनां अट्टओ ति चूर्ण, गोधूमचूर्ण वा गन्धयुक्तन्, but no lexicon like the देशीनाममाला mentions अट्टम in the sense of powder. ___ 7. 27. अट्टिपहि-उहिय or उट्टिया is a big earthen pot haring its neck like that of a camel. अहिं उट्टिएहिं means with, eight uttiyu pots full of mater ; उदगस्स घडएहि is only the paraphrase of उहिएहि. Com. says:-उष्टिका वृहन्मृन्मय भाण्डं, तत्पूरणप्रयोजना ये घटाते उष्टिका, उचितप्रमाणा नातिलघवो महान्तो वा.

This Section and the following seven men. tion restrictions that suprae put on himself Tith reference to articles of food and drink; these articles are (1) पेजा, gruel or decoction of some kind of pulse or rice%3 (2) मक्ख, eatables such as pastry; (3) ओदण, boiled rice3B -14 सब, soup of dal; (5) घय, ghee; (6) साग, vegetables;
(1) माहुरय, sweet drinks like पन्हें, and (8) जेमन, relishes •or condiments, रायते and such others. Of these कट्टपेज्जा means a decoction of some kinds of pulses off or other corns (कृष्ट) or of rice fried in ghee; Com. मुद्दादियपः ततलिततण्डुलपेया वा.

The.Com, says that are ordinarily means an årticle of food which requires to be chewed with the use of teeth, but here it is used in the sense of some sweet preparations snch as part or sweets in which • candy (खण्ड) is used in.plenty; खरविशदमभ्यवहार्य मक्षामित्यन्यत्ररूढम् , इह सुपकानमात्रे तगृढम्.
