જતુર્થ-કાઃ

Itતી
तथाऽधिका भवेत् तृष्णा भोगभोगा यथाधिकाः । तृष्णोपशमक सत्त्व सम्यग्दर्शनसम्भवम् ॥
* જેમ જેમ વિષયોમાં વધુ આસક્ત થવાય છે તેમ તેમ તૃષ્ણા વધુ ભભૂકતી જાય છે. એનું ઉપશમન સમ્યગ્દર્શનથી પ્રગટ થનાર સર્વથી (અન્તર્ બળથી) સાધ્ય છે. ૫
* The more one enjoys sensual pleasures, the more one's desire of worldly enjoyments, is increa. sing The spirit arising from right uuderstanding of truth, is capable of cooling down that desire. 5
