पापाचरणगुप्तत्वात् प्रख्यातोऽपीव सज्जनः। नोत्कर्ष न सुखं याति, न कार्य सदसद् वृथा ।
* માણસ એનાં પાપાચરણની ગુપ્તતાને લીધે લેકમાં સજજન તરીકે જાણીતે થાય છે, પણ એમ છતાં ન સમુન્નત થઈ શકે છે, ન સુખી. સત્, અસત્ પિતાને ભાગ ભજવ્યા વગર રહેતાં નથી. ૧૫
* A man though vicious, can become famous among the people on account of the secrecy of his sins, nevertheless he does not get good advancement nor happiness. An act good or bad cannot but show its influence. 15
