यथा प्रकाशरूपत्व भवस्यादर्श उज्ज्वले । तथा प्रकाशरूपत्वं भवत्यात्मनि निर्मले ।।
* જેમ દર્પણ ઊજળું થતાં પ્રકાશરૂપ બને છે, તેમ આત્મા નિર્મલ થતાં પ્રકાશરૂપ બને છે. ૮ (દર્પણના દષ્ટાંતે મલિન આત્માનું શુદ્ધ-ઉજજવલ થવું સમજી શકાય છે, અને શુદ્ધ (પૂર્ણ શુદ્ધ) આત્મા જ તે પરમાત્મા છે.)
• As a mirror being cleansed becomes a reflector, so a soul being absolutely purified, becomes the embodiment of the lustre of knowledge. 8 [ By the example of a mirror it can be clearly understood that an impure soul can be absolutely pure, and it is itself Ishvara (the Supreme Spirit). }
