* શરીર પૃથ્વી આદિ ભૂતાથી બનેલુ હોઈ જડ છે અને નાશવાન છે. આત્મા એથી ( શરીરથી) ભિન્ન જ છે, અને એ ચૈતન્યમય શાશ્વત તત્ત્વ છે. ( આ પાઠ કલ્યાણાભિલાષીએ સર્વપ્રથમ શીખી લેવાને અને હૃદયમાં ઉતારવાના છે.) ૧૧
