कल्याणभारती
दुहर्हास परनिन्दा च त्यजेतानर्थकारणम् । सूनृतव्रतनिष्ठत्वं भजेत कुशलावहम् ।।
જ ઉદ્ધત હાસ્ય અને પરનિન્દા જે સ્પષ્ટ અનર્થકારક છે તેને મૂકી દે. સૂતૃત વ્રત (પ્રિય-હિત સત્ય) જે કેવલ કુશલકારક છે તે પર દઢ રહેવાને અભ્યાસ કરો. ૧૨
• Cast off insolent laughter and censure of others, because they are clearly harmful. Learn to be fimm on the vow of truthfulness which is the giver of only happiness. 12
