इच्छान्दोलनमूलानि दुःखानि वृजिनानि च । शूरोऽपि कातरोऽनेन विद्वानपि च बालिशः ।।
જ બધાં દુઃખ અને પાપનું મૂળ ઈચ્છાને ઉત્પાત છે. શૂરા માણસ પણ કાયર બને છે અને વિદ્વાન પણ બાલિશ બને છે-એ ઉત્પાતમાં ફસાઈને. ૮
