कल्याणभारती
उपस्थिता वै विषया भवन्तीन्द्रियगोचराः । किन्तु तत्र भजेत् साम्य' रागद्वेषविवर्जनात् ।।
* રૂપ આદિ વિષયે આપણી પાસે ઉપસ્થિત થાય ત્યારે ઈન્દ્રિયનેચર થયા વગર રહે જ નહિ, પણ ત્યારે ધીર મનુષ્ય તેમાં રાગ-દ્વેષ કરે નહિ અને સામ્યને ધારણ કરે. ૬
. Objects of senses certainly become perceptible to our senses when they are in the presence of ours. But being unaffected by attachment to and hatred against those objects, one should keep equanimous attitude to them, 6.
