कसाय पाहुड सुत्त [१५ चारित्रमोह-क्षपणाधिकार (१०२) एकं च द्विदिविसेसं तु द्विदिविसेसेसु कदिसु वढेदि ।
हरसेदि कदिसु एगं तहाणुभागेसु बोद्धव्वं ॥१५५॥
४०३. एदिस्से एक्का भासगाहा । ४०४. तिस्से समुक्कित्तणा च विहासा च कायव्वा । ४०५. तं जहा। (१०३) एकं च द्विदिविसेसं तु असंखेजेसु द्विदिविसेसेसु ।
वड्ढदि हरस्सेदि च तहाणुभागे सणंतेसु ॥१५६॥
एक स्थितिविशेषको कितने स्थितिविशेषोंमें बढ़ाता है और एकस्थितिविशेषको कितने स्थितिविशेषोंमें घटाता है ? इसी प्रकारकी पृच्छाएँ अनुभागविशेषोंमें जानना चाहिए ॥१५५॥
विशेषार्थ-यह छठी मूलगाथा स्थिति-अनुभागविषयक उत्कर्षण-अपकर्षणसम्बन्धी जघन्य-उत्कृष्ट निक्षेपके प्रमाणका अवधारण करनेके लिए अवतीर्ण हुई है । यह मूलगाथा होनेसे केवल पृच्छारूपसे ही वक्तव्य अर्थकी सूचना करती है । एक स्थितिविशेषको कितनी स्थितिविशेषोमें बढ़ाता है ? इसका अभिप्राय यह है कि किसी विवक्षित एक स्थितिका उत्कर्षण करता हुआ क्या एक स्थितिविशेषमे बढ़ाता है, अथवा दो स्थितिविशेषोमे बढ़ाता है, अथवा तीन स्थितिविशेषोमे बढ़ाता है, अथवा संख्यात स्थितिविशेषोमे बढ़ाता है, या असंख्यात स्थितिविशेषोमें बढ़ाता है, इस प्रकार गाथाके पूर्वार्ध-द्वारा स्थिति-उत्कर्षणके विषयमे जघन्य उत्कृष्ट निक्षेपके प्रमाणकी पृच्छा की गई है । इसी पूर्वार्ध-पठित 'च' और 'तु' शब्दके द्वारा उत्कर्षण-विषयक जघन्य और उत्कृष्ट अतिस्थापनाके संग्रहकी भी सूचना की गई समझना चाहिए । 'हरसेदि कदिसु एगं' गाथाके उत्तरार्धके इस प्रथम अवयवके द्वारा अपकर्षणविषयक जघन्य-उत्कृष्ट निक्षेपके प्रमाणका निर्णय करनेके लिए पृच्छा की गई है । उत्तरार्धके अन्तिम अवयव-द्वारा अनुभाग-विषयक उत्कर्षण-अपकर्षणसम्बन्धी जघन्य और उत्कृष्ट निक्षेपके विषयमे तथा जघन्य और उत्कृष्ट अतिस्थापनाके प्रमाण-सम्बन्धमे पृच्छा की गई समझना चाहिए । इस प्रकार इस मूलगाथाके द्वारा की गई पृच्छाओका उत्तर वक्ष्यमाण भाष्यगाथाओके द्वारा स्वयं ग्रन्थकार ही देंगे।
__ चूर्णिसू०-इस मूलगाथाके अर्थका व्याख्यान करनेवाली एक भाष्यगाथा है । उसकी समुत्कीर्तना और विभाषा एक साथ करना चाहिए । वह इस प्रकार है ॥४०३-४०५॥
