________________ ९ वंजण-अस्थाहियारो १. वंजणे त्ति अणिओगद्दारस्स सुत्तं । २. तं जहा। (३३) कोहो य कोव रोसो य अक्खम संजलण-कलह-वड्डी य । झंझा दोस विवादो दस कोहेयटिया होति ॥८६॥ (३४) माण मद दप्प थंभो उकास पगास तथ समुकस्सो। अत्तुकरिसो परिभव उस्सिद दसलक्खणो माणो ॥८७॥ ९ व्यञ्जन-अर्थाधिकार चूर्णिसू०-अब व्यञ्जन नामक अनुयोगद्वारके गाथासूत्रोका व्याख्यान करते हैं । वह इस प्रकार है ॥१-२॥ क्रोध, कोप, रोष, अक्षमा, संज्वलन, कलह, वृद्धि, झंझा, द्वेष और विवाद, ये दश क्रोधके एकार्थक नाम हैं ॥८६॥ विशेषार्थ-गुस्सा करनेको क्रोध या कोप कहते हैं । क्रोधके आवेशको रोष कहते है । क्षमा या शान्तिके अभावको अक्षमा कहते है । जो स्व और पर दोनोको जलावे उसे संज्वलन कहते है । दूसरेसे लड़ने या दूसरेके लड़ानेको कलह कहते हैं । जिससे पाप, अपयश, कलह और वैर आदिक बढ़े उसे वृद्धि कहते है । अत्यन्त तीव्र संक्लेश परिणामको झंझा कहते है । आन्तरिक अप्रीति या कलुषताको द्वेप कहते है। विवाद नाम स्पर्धा या संघर्षका है । इस प्रकार ये दश नाम क्रोधके पर्याय-वाचक है । मान, मद, दर्प, स्तम्भ, उत्कर्ष, प्रकर्ष, समुत्कर्प, आत्मोत्कर्प, परिभव और उसिक्त ये दश नाम मानकषायके हैं ॥८७॥ विशेषार्थ-जाति, कुल आदिकी अपेक्षा अपनेको वड़ा मानना मान कहलाता है । जाति-मदादिकसे युक्त होकर मदिरा-पानके समान मत्त होनेको मद कहते हैं। मदसे बढ़े हुए अहंकारके प्रकट करनेको दर्प कहते हैं । गर्वकी अधिकतासे सन्निपात-अवस्थाके समान अनगेल या यद्वा-तद्वा वचनालाप करनेको स्तम्भ कहते हैं। अपनी विद्वत्ता, विभूति या ख्याति आदिके आधिक्यको चाहना उत्कर्ष है । उत्कर्ष के प्रकट करने को प्रकर्प कहते हैं । उत्कर्ष और प्रकर्षके लिये महान् उद्योग करनेको समुत्कर्ष कहते है । मै ही जात्यादिकी अपेक्षा सबसे वड़ा हूँ, मेरेसे उत्कृष्ट और कोई नहीं है इस प्रकारके अव्यवसायको आत्मोत्कर्ष कहते हैं । दूसरेके तिरस्कार या अपमान करनेको परिभव कहते हैं। आत्मोत्कर्ष और पर-परिभवके
