हास्यप्रकृतिके उत्कृष्ट अनुभागसत्कर्मसे भी सम्यग्मिथ्यात्वके उत्कृष्ट अनुभागसत्कर्मको अनन्तगुणा हीन बतलानेका कारण यह है कि सम्यग्मिथ्यात्वका उत्कृष्ट अनुभागसत्कर्म द्विस्थानीय अर्थात् दारुसमान स्पर्धकोके अनन्तवे भागमे अवस्थित है, किन्तु हास्यप्रकृतिका उत्कृष्ट अनुभागसत्कर्म चतुःस्थानीय अर्थात् शैलसमान स्पर्धकोमे अवस्थित है, इसलिए हास्यके अनुभागसे सम्यग्मिथ्यात्वके अनुभागका अनन्तगुणा हीन होना स्वाभाविक है । सम्यग्मिथ्यात्वसे सम्यक्त्वप्रकृतिके उत्कृष्ट अनुभागसत्कर्मके अनन्तगुणा हीन होनेका कारण यह है कि वह देशवाती है, अतएव उसका उत्कृष्ट अनुभाग भी दारुस्थानीय अनुभागके अनन्त बहुभाग तक ही सीमित रहता है।
