रोम्यारोला' the three vows of Jains - 'जैनो की प्रतिज्ञात्रयी"
कहते है ।"
इस सम्बन्धमे चीनी विद्वान् डा० तान युन शां, डाइरेक्टर चीनीभवन विश्व भारती एव भारत स्थित चीनी सरकारके सास्कृतिक प्रतिनिधिके महत्त्वपूर्ण उद्गार विशेष मनन करने योग्य है, जो उनने 'चीनभारतीय संस्कृति में अहिंसा' सम्बन्धी चिन्तना युक्त निबन्धमे व्यक्त किये है । डा० तानका कथन है कि "अहिंसा भारतीय एव चींनी संस्कृतिका सामान्य तथा प्रमुख अंग है । भारतमे निषेधात्मक अहिसाकी व्याख्या प्रचलित है और चीनमे विधिरूप ।" गाधीजीने भारतीय दृष्टिकोणका स्पष्टी - करण करते हुए कहा था, कि "इस देहमे जीवन धारण करनेमें कुछ न कुछ हिंसा होती है । अत श्रेष्ठ धर्मकी परिभाषामे हिसा न करना रूप निषेधात्मक अहिसाकी व्याख्या की गयी है ।"" यह अहिंसाका उपदेश सबसे
