________________ ( 8 ) nant of a feminine word, except that of vidyut (faqa) The "elision" of the preceding sutras ends here; thus. मरिश्रा, (मरित्) ; पडिवत्र, (प्रतिपत्); संपत्रा (सम्पत्) ; वात्रा, (वाच् वा बाक्) ; वहुलाधिकारादिषत् पृटतर 'य' शुतिरपि । The option' being continued, we find in some instances that the letter ६ व्या is uttered as if accompanied with ya (य) as सरिया, पडिवया, इत्यादि। ॥रोरा ॥ १६ । खियां बर्तमानस्य रेफस्य 'रादेशो वा भवति । प्रात्त्वापबादः।१। रा (ra) is substituted for a final rr in a feminine word as सिरा, धुरा, पुरा। ॥ क्षुधी हा ॥ १७। क्षुत् शब्दस्यान्त व्यञ्जनस्य 'हा'ऽऽदेशोभबति । The final consonant of the word leshut (क्षुत् ) is changed into 'हा' as क्षुहा (क्षुत्)। ॥शरदादेरत् ॥ १८।२। In the word sarrat (प्ररत्) &c. a (अ) is substituted for the final consonant as सरय, (शरत्); भिसअ, भिषक् ; ॥ दिक् पावृषोः सः ।। १८ । ३ । एतयोरन्न्य व्यञ्जनस्य मो भवति । १ खूनमिदं प्राकृत प्रकाश समरूपं दृश्यते। Prakrita Prakasa contains this sutra without any addition or alteration (see 8ch.4 of Pra). २ प्राकृत प्रकाशे सूचमिदं भिन्नार्थक मिन खरूपच बनते यथा In Prakrita Prakasa the corresponding sutra is of different form and teaches us entirely a different thing as "शरदो दः" d e is substituted for the final to of sarat. as सरदो। Prakrita Prakasa contains this sutra in the same form (see 11ch.4.)
