________________ Shri Ashtapad Maha Tirth_ Yorkton NOXIOMEMA Hover 217 La C Ratna Mandir Tatto Ashtapad has derived its name from the fact that it has eight steps. 8 steps were carved at the bottom of the mountain in the center. Above that 4 layers of Gokhlas were carved as per the scripture. A design with regular carving was done in the beginning but later on a Asht Pratiharya design was added and hence all 24 Gokhalas have a Asht Pratiharya design. Individual Yaksh Yakshini are carved at the base next to the Sinhasan. A five Shikhar design has been added at the top to give the whole structure, the appearance of a temple. All Shikhars are carved as per the design in the scripture, and will be adomed with gold kalash. The Dhwaja (flag) will be at the top in the center. Mountain & Shri Chovisi will be illuminated from the front using LED lights. As well as it will be illuminated from the back using color lights, giving it an amazing effect. 408
