રમતમાં અક્વાર અક દેવે મોટા નાગનું રૂપ લીધું, ને બધા બાળકોને બિવરાવવા લાગ્યો; પણ મહાવીરે તો તેને ઉપાડીને દૂર ફેંકી દીધો. Once, one of those heavenly beings took the form of a big snake and began to frighten all the children; but Mahavir picked up the snake and threw it away.

ઇને તેને શાંત કર્યો. Also, on another day an elephant of the King became mad and started harrassing the people, Prince Mahavir went up to him and calmed him down.
રાકમાર મહાવીર જ્યારે મોટા થયા
ત્યાર એક્વાર તેમને પોતાના પૂર્વભવનું જ્ઞાન થયું. When Prince Mahavir grew up, he gained memories of his previous life.

પૂર્વભવનું જ્ઞાન થતાં તેમને ઘણો જ વૈરાગ્ય જાગ્યો, તેથી તેઓ દીક્ષા લઇને મૂનિ થયા. He became even more detached from worldly affairs as a result of knowing his previous lives and he became a Monk.
