Three incomplete subhāṣita-samgraha-s and, therefore, without an author and a title. The first is a subhasita-samgraha of which the first two folia (1 and 2) are missing; the rest is numbered 3 to 37; this MS. is kept in the Bhandarkar Oriental Research Institute in Poona (MS. 423 of 1887-91). The second is also kept in the Bhandarkar Oriental Research Institute in Poona (No. 1396 of 1884-87); of the latter MS. the first 20 folia with some 800 verses are missing, both anthologies do not cite authors but the second anthology quotes Bhartrhari as author of some verses'; These two anthologies were written by Jaina compilers but quote many non-Jinistic verses: the first anthology quotes, for instance, 59 Bhartṛhari's epigrams2
