In this prayer we wish involvement in worldly affairs in a righteous way as well as maintaining a distance from the same so as not to be too involved in them.

Navakāra:
Namo arihantānań
Obeisance to the perfect beings with body
Namo siddhānañ
Obeisance to the liberated souls
Namo āyariyānań
Obeisance to the heads of congregation
Namo uvajjhāyānam
Obeisance to the holy teacher monks
Namo loye savvasāhūnas
Obeisance to all the holy monks

Catūh Saranas: The four refuges
Cattāri mangalaṁ, arihantā mangalam, siddhā mangalam
Sāhū mangalas, kevalipannatto dhammo mangalaṁll
Cattāri logūttamā, arihantā logūttamā, siddhā loguttamāl
Sāhū logūttamā, kevalipannatto dhammologuttamoll

Meaning:

There are four auspicious beings namely arihantas (perfect beings with body), siddhas (liberated souls), holy monks (sādhus) and dharma (religion) based on the sermons of omniscient lords. May they be auspicious to me? Here the ācāryas, upādhyāyas and sādhus are all clubbed in sādhus.
