मंगलाचरण
यस्य स्वयं स्वभावाप्तिरभावे कृत्स्नकर्मणः । तस्मै संज्ञानरूपाय नमोऽस्तु परमात्मने ॥

INVOCATION I make obeisance to the Omniscient Supreme Being who has attained, by own effort, the purity of His soul-nature by destroying all karmas.
EXPLANATORY NOTES
The soul (jīva) is characterized by consciousness – cetanā or upayoga. In its pure form, cetanā is perception and knowledge, perfect and unalloyed. The whole of the reality forms an object of perception and knowledge to the soul. In this pure state the soul is devoid of pain and anguish of the world, and absorbed in everlasting bliss.
