________________ Conclusion voluminous literature of those different schools is full of arguments in favor of the authors' viewpoints and against those who differ from them. That is hardly necessary and what is said in this Atmasiddhi Shästra is enough for comprehending the truth. But there is the scope for elaborating what is stated therein. Hela 22, 23 alle, HER CE, nei; વીર જી ! રીટા પી ના રાસી નાણા હિસ્સા હાઈના | * solve Atmabara mti Sam Rog Nahi, Sadguru Vaidya Sujām; Guimajina Sam Pathya Nahi, Aushadh Vichar Dhyan. 00129|| There is no disease like self-delusion; a true Guru is an expert spiritual physician; there are no dietary restrictions like the precepts of Guru; contemplation and meditation comprise the medication. (129) Explanation & Discussion: This is a very important stanza, which can be considered a precious spiritual jewel. It contains the substance of the entire spiritual science. The four parts of the stanza specify four highly valuable statements that need to be kept in mind by every one. The first part refers to Atmabhränti, which means the delusion prevailing about the Self. Due to ignorance of the true Self the worldly beings stay deluded about their own nature. Forsaking the soul they identify themselves with the body and its surroundings. As such, they indulge in attachment for some aspects and resentment towards others. This delusion is the major disease. The physical diseases can be cured by right treatment. Even if a disease is found incurable, it ends with the death. The delusion 229
