(उ.) गण के आधार से स्थापित नाम को गणनाम कहते हैं, जैसे - मल्ल, मल्लदत्त, मल्लधर्म, मल्लशर्म, मल्लदेव, मल्लदास, मल्लसेन, मल्लरक्षित आदि । ये गणस्थापनानिष्पन्ननाम हैं।
