____Kulika (wall)-A bird is called sakultka (with kulika) althought it is without a kulika (a wall).
Palash (that which consumes flesh)—A specific tree is called Palash (Butea frondosa) although it does not consume flesh (pal).
Matrivahak (one who carries its mother)-A specific insect is called matrivahak (white ant) although it does not carry its mother.
Bijavapak (one that sows seed)—A specific insect is called bijavapak although it does not sow seeds. ___Indragope (cowherd of Indra, the king of gods)-A specific insect is called Indragope (a beetle) although it does not look after the cows of Indra.
This concludes the description of Nogauna naam or nonattributive name. (३) आदानपदेननाम
२६६. से किं तं आयाणपदेणं ?
आयाणपदेणं-आवंती चाउरंगिजं आहत्तहियं अद्दइज्जं असंखयं जण्णइज्जं पुरिसइज्जं (उसुकारिजं) एलइज्जं वीरियं धम्मो मग्गो समोसरणं जमईयं। से तं
आयाणपदेणं। ___ २६६. (प्र.) वह आदानपदेननाम क्या है ?
(उ.) आदानपद (आदिपद) से होने वाला नाम (संज्ञा), जैसे-आवंती, चातुरंगिज्जं, असंखयं, आहत्तहियं, अद्दइज्जं, जण्णइज्जं, पुरिसइज्जं (उसुकारिज्ज), एलइज्जं, वीरियं, धम्मं, मग्गं, समोसरणं, जमईयं इत्यादि आदि पद से होने वाला नाम आदानपदेननाम है। यह आदानपद का वर्णन हुआ।
विवेचन-जिस आदिपद या गाथा से जो शास्त्र, अध्ययन या प्रकरण प्रारम्भ होता है, उसे 'आदानपद' कहते हैं। उसके आधार से रखे जाने वाले नाम ‘आदानपदेननाम' है। इसके उदाहरण हैं-- ___ आवंती-यह आचारांगसूत्र के पाँचवे अध्ययन का नाम है। उसके प्रारम्भ में आये 'आवंती केयावती' पद के कारण है।
