(1) Bhavadharaniya (by the normal body), and ( 2 ) Uttar-vaukriya (by the secondary transmuted body).
Of these the minimum avagahana (space occupied) of the Bhavadharaniya (normal) body is innumerable fraction of an angul and the maximum is seven ratnis. The minimum avagahana (space occupied) of the Uttar-vakriya (secondary transmuted) body is countable fraction of an angul and the maximum is one lac (one hundred thousand) yojans.
(२) एवं असुरकुमारगमेणं जाव थणितकुमाराणं ताव भाणियव्वं ।
( २ ) असुरकुमारो की अवगाहना के अनुरूप ही नागकुमारों से लेकर स्तनितकुमारों पर्यन्त समस्त भवनवासी देवो की दोनो प्रकार की अवगाहना एक समान जानना चाहिए।
(2) Likewise both the avagahanas ( space occupied) related to Devas (divine-being) of all classes from the Naagkumar to the Stanitkumar should be taken to be same as those of the Asurkumar class
पाँच स्थावरों की शरीरावगाहना
३४९. (१) पुढविकाइयाणं भंते! केमहालिया सरीरोगाहणा पत्रत्ता ?
गोयमा ! जहन्नेणं अंगुलस्स असंखेज्जइभागं उक्कोसेणं वि अंगुलस्स असंखेज्जइभागं । एवं सुहुमाणं ओहियाणं अपज्जत्तयाणं पज्जत्तयाणं च भाणियव्वं । एवं जाव बादरवाउक्काइयाणं अपज्जत्तयाणं पज्जत्तयाणं भाणियव्वं ।
(१) ( प्र . ) भगवन् ! पृथ्वीकायिक जीवो की शरीरावगाहना कितनी है ?
(उ.) गौतम । (पृथ्वीकायिक जीवो की शरीरावगाहना) जघन्य अगुल के असंख्यातवे भाग प्रमाण और उत्कृष्ट भी अगुल के असख्यातवे भाग प्रमाण है। इसी प्रकार सामान्य रूप से सूक्ष्म पृथ्वीकायिक जीवो की और विशेष रूप से सूक्ष्म अपर्याप्त और पर्याप्त पृथ्वीकायिक जीवों की तथा सामान्यत' बादर पृथ्वीकायिकों एव विशेषतः अपर्याप्त और पर्याप्त बादर पृथ्वीकायिको की, इसी प्रकार अष्कायिक, तेजस्कायिक एवं वायुकायिक जीवों की शरीरावगाहना जानना चाहिए ।
