lotus bloom, when sunshine of the rising sun appears, when there that shall be brightness of the sun spreading thousands of its rays
causing blooming of lotus flowers in the lake (making it red with aura) that appear red like crimson Ashok, Palash flowers beak of a parrot and the middle portion of gunja flowers, I should come to you with my entire family in order to bow to you, honour you and to humbly seek pardon from you for my great sin of insulting you." Saying so, king Pradeshi went in the direction from which he had come. He went to his town.
After the night passed on the following day, when the sun brightened, in a very joyous mood king Pradeshi came out like king Kaunik to have the darshan (of Keshi Kumar Shraman). He and the work members of his family, observing five types of restrains, bowed to Keshi Kumar Shraman, honoured him and humbly sought pardon for his rude and undesirable behaviour again and again in the prescribed manner.
विवेचन-इस सूत्र मे प्रदेशी राजा के केशीकुमार श्रमण की धर्मदेशना सुनने के लिए परिवार व सेना सहित जाने का उल्लेख है। इसका विस्तृत वर्णन जानने के लिए कोणिक राजा के भगवान महावीर की
धर्मसभा मे जानने का वर्णन पढने की सूचना है। औपपातिकसूत्र मे कोणिक राजा की दर्शन-यात्रा का * बहुत ही विस्तृत रोचक वर्णन है। इसका सार यह है* चम्पानगरी में भगवान महावीर के आगमन का सवाद सुनकर कोणिक राजा अत्यन्त हर्षित होता * है। चम्पानगरी को दुल्हन की तरह सजाने-सँवारने का आदेश देता है और सेनानायक को दर्शन-यात्रा
मे जाने के लिए सेना, हाथी आदि तैयार करने की आज्ञा देता है। स्वय स्नान आदि करके परिवार सहित तैयार होकर पट्टहस्ती पर आरूढ होता है, रानियाँ आदि परिवार सुसज्जित रथो मे बैठता है।
इस यात्रा में सबसे आगे अष्ट मगल स्थापित करके रखे जाते है। इनके पीछे मगल-कलश, झारियाँ, छत्र, चॅवर, ध्वजा चलती है। सुसज्जित एक सौ आठ घोडो पर सुशिक्षित घुडसवार, उनके पीछे एक सौ आठ विशालकाय हाथी, फिर छत्रयुक्त एक सौ आठ रथ, हाथो मे अनेक प्रकार के शस्त्र धारण किये
हजारो पैदल सैनिक। इस प्रकार चतुरगिनी सेना के साथ उनके पीछे अभिषेक हस्ती पर कोणिक राजा र * आरूढ होता है। कोणिक के हाथी के आगे घडसवार दोनों बाजओ मे हाथियों पर ससज्जित सैनिक और * पीछे अनेक सैकडो रथ चल रहे है। उनके पीछे मत्री, नगर-रक्षक, राज्य-अधिकारी, श्रेष्ठी, सार्थवाह
तथा नगरजन चलते है। पटह-मदग. भेरी आदि वाद्य बजाते हए वादक। इस प्रकार हजारो लोगो के 2 साथ अत्यन्त उल्लास-उत्साहपूर्वक कोणिक राजा चम्पानगरी के मध्य मे होकर भगवान महावीर की 2 वन्दना करने पूर्णभद्र चैत्य की ओर जाता है। रायपसेणियसूत्र
