१२८. तेसि णं दाराणं उभओ पासे दुहओ निसीहियाए सोलस सोलस घंटापरिवाडीओ पन्नत्ता, तासि णं घंटाणं इमेयारूवे वन्नावासे पन्नत्ते, तं जहा
जंबूणयामईओ घंटाओ, वयरामयाओ, लालाओ णाणामणिमया घंटापासगा, तवणिज्जामइयाओ संखलाओ, रययामयाओ रज्जूओ ।
ताओ णं घंटाओ ओहस्सराओ, मेहस्सराओ, हंसस्सराओ, कोंचस्सराओ, सीहस्सराओ, दुंदुहिस्सराओ, दिघोसाओ, मंजुस्सराओ, मंजुघोसाओ, सुस्सराओ, सुस्सरघोसाओ उरालेणं मणुत्रेणं मणहरेणं कन्नमण- निव्वुइकरेणं सद्देणं ते पदेसे सव्वओ समंता आपूरेमाणाओ आपूरेमाणाओ जाव चिट्ठति ।
१२८. इन द्वारों की दोनों बाजु की दोनों निषीधिकाओं में सोलह-सोलह घंटाओं की पंक्तियाँ बनी हैं। उन घटाओं का वर्णन इस प्रकार है
वे प्रत्येक घंटे जाम्बूनद स्वर्ण से बने हुए हैं, उनके लोलक (पेंडुलम ) वज्र रत्नमय हैं, भीतर और बाहर दोनो बाजुओं मे विविध प्रकार के मणि जडे हैं, लटकाने के लिए बॅधी हुई सॉकलें सोने की और रस्सियाँ चाँदी की हैं।
उन घंटाओं का मधुर घोष ऐसा है जैसे मेघ की गडगड़ाहट, हंस के स्वर, क्रौंच के स्वर, सिह की गर्जना, दुन्दुभिनाद, वाद्यसमूहनिनाद और नन्दिघोष हो । उस मंजुस्वर, मंजुघोष ( मनोहर ध्वनि और मनोहर नाद), सुस्वर, सुस्वर घोष जैसी ध्वनि वाले वे घंटे अपनी श्रेष्ठसुन्दर मनोज्ञ, मनोहर कान और मन को प्रिय, सुखकारी झनकारों से उस प्रदेश को चारों ओर से व्याप्त करते हुए शोभायमान हो रहे हैं।
128. In the two places for study of scriptures on both the sides of the gates, their are rows of sixteen bells each. The description of the bells is as under
Every bell is made of gold. They have Vajra jewelled pendulum. Gems are studded both in the inner and outer side. The pegs are of gold and strings are of silver against which they are hanging.
The sweet sound of the bells is like that of thundering clouds, the voice of the swan or cronch, the roaring of the lion, the sound of the lute, the sound emitted by a collection of musical instruments and the bell of Stanit Kumar god. That pleasant tune, pleasant sound, auspicious voice, auspicious sound produced by those bells is excellent, pleasing loveable to the ears and the mind and is causing सूर्याभ वर्णन
