varieties of lotus (blue lotus, red lotus, white lotus), Malati or TEN other sachit flowers, it is not proper for him to accept such food. So a disciplined ascetic should inform the woman that he is not allowed to accept such food and therefore he cannot take it.
१६ : उप्पलं पउमं वा वि कुमुअं वा मगदंतिअं।
अन्नं वा पुष्फ सच्चित्तं तं च सम्मदिया दए॥ १७ : तं भवे भत्तपाणं तु संजयाण अकप्पिअं।
दितिअं पडिआइक्खे न मे कप्पइ तारिसं॥ गृहस्थ के घर में यदि कोई स्त्री पूर्वोक्त नीलोत्पल आदि सचित्त पुष्पों को कुचलकर, मर्दन करके आहार-पानी देने लगे तो साधु ऐसा आहार-पानी नहीं लेवे तथा कह देवे कि यह आहार-पानी मेरे योग्य नहीं है अतः मैं नहीं ले सकता॥१६-१७॥
16, 17. If a donor woman proceeds to give food to an ascetic immediately after crushing or rubbing such lotuses or other sachit flowers, it is not proper for him to accept such food. So a disciplined ascetic should inform the woman that he is not allowed to accept such food and therefore he cannot take it. १८ : उप्पलं पउमं वावि कुमुअं वा मंगदंतिअं।
अन्नं वा पुप्फ सच्चित्तं तं च संघट्टिया दए। १९ : तं भवे भत्तपाणं तु संजयाण अकप्पियं।
दितियं पडिआइक्खे न मे कप्पइ तारिसं॥ यदि दान देने वाली कोई स्त्री नीलोत्पल आदि सचित्त पदार्थों का संघटन
स्पर्श करती हुई श्रमण को आहार-पानी देने लगे तो साधु वह आहार-पानी नहीं Ke लेवे तथा देने वाली स्त्री से कहे कि वहन, यह आहार-पानी मुझे लेना नहीं
कल्पता है॥१८-१९॥
