राम कृष्णाः भद्रोत्तर प्रतिमा सूत्र १४:
रामकृष्णा आर्या का चरित्र भी इसी प्रकार है । यह भी श्रेणिक राजा की रानी और कोणिक राजा की छोटी माता थी । दीक्षा ली और आर्या चन्दनबाला की आज्ञा प्राप्त कर “भद्रोत्तर प्रतिमा" तप किया । (भद्रोत्तर प्रतिमा का अर्थ है-भद्र-कल्याण की प्रदाता, उत्तर-प्रधान । यह प्रतिमा परम कल्याणप्रद होने से भद्रोत्तर प्रतिमा कही जाती है ।) उसकी विधि इस प्रकार हैसर्वप्रथम पचोला किया । पारणा किया । फिर क्रमशः छः किये, पारणा किया, पिर क्रमशः सात, आठ और नौ किये । प्रथम परिपार्टी के सभी पारणों में विगयों का सेवन वर्जित नहीं था । यह प्रथम लता हुई ।
Chapter 8 Rāmakrsnā : Bhadrottara firm resolution Maxim 14 :
The life sketch of Rāmakrsnā Devī is also similar as aforesaid in previous chapters. She also was the consort of king Sreņika and younger step mother of king Konika. She accepted consecration and with the permission of Aryaā Candanabālā, practised Bhadrottara Pratimā penance. In Bhadrottara Pratimā the word Bhadrottara is composed by two words-Bhadra and uttara. Bhadra means welfare and uttara denotes chief. Thus the whole word Bhadrottara means-giver of chief and utmost welfare or salvation to the soul. That is as followsFirst of all she observed five days' fast, took meal. Then observed six days' fast, took meal; then seven, eight and nine days' fast, took meals in between. It is first branch.
