________________ SAVA TATVA. 119 form a medium in which motion can be performed, solids are stable, air forms the atmosphere, and body is matter formed for the habitation of a living principle, and has the four divisions named above The divisions of time are, samaya, avali, muhurtta, days, demi-lunations, montlıs, years, ages (palyas), oceans (sígara), utsarpini, and avasarpani.
