________________ Harinamamrta by Rupagosvami, (c 1470-1559), and Siddhantakaumudi by Bhattojidiksita (1700 AD) 4. SANSKRIT Thus in among the known authors the dates starts from 100 AD. Thus, we can guess that Panini must have lived sometime in the later half of the first century, which was the time when Sanskrit began to appear as a language archeologically.
