That night, after Sadhvi Chandanbaala had fallen asleep, Sadhvi Mrigaavati could not sleep because she was repenting deeply over her fault and soon perceived light every where.
Since then Mrrigaavati knew everything because she had attained kevalgyaana, she saw that a snake was moving by Sadhvi Chandanbaala. She moved Chandanbaala's hand away so that the snake might not bite it. The head sadhvi awoke, asked what had happened, and had the story narrated to her by Mrigaavati. Chandanbaala asked how she knew about the snake and Mrigaavati replied she had achieved kevalgyaana.
Chandanbaala then thought she had been impetuous in scolding Mrigaavati. She too repented, and thus thinking, felt a flash of light of the supreme knowledge in her and attained salvation.
