As is evident, this selection covers a range of topics such as Jaina mysticism, Ahiṁsā, ethics, metaphysics, Anekānta, and comparative study of some themes common to Gita and Upanishads. All these articles should prove to be a link between the ancient and the modern, both in terms of content as well as style. In fact, the author presents the ancient doctrines and their application in life in the much needed modern way so as to make them relevant and significant in the present day world. We are sure, this work will be received well by the common reader as well as the scholars.
