तेणं कालेणं तेणं समएणं मियग्गामें नाम नयरे होत्था (वण्णा )। तस्स णं मियग्गामस्स नयरस्स बहिया उत्तरपुरत्थिमे दिसोभाए चंदणपायवे नाम उज्जाणे होत्था ( वण्णओ)। तत्थ णं सुहम्मस्स जवखस्स जक्खाययणे होत्था ( वएणओ ) ॥१॥
