JAGAT GURU SHRI HEER VIJAY SURI
The emperor summoned prominent Jains from Agra and Fatehpur Sikri to his court and said,
T have heard a lot of praise of your guru Heer Vijaya Suri. I want to invite him here. Please write a
letter to Gurudev on my behalf.

The local shravaks wrote a letter of request to the Ahmedabad Sangh.
The shravaks of Ahmedabad went to Heer Vijaya Suri and requested earnestly
Akbar sent this letter with a royal order to the governor of Ahmedabad, Shihab Khan, who, in turn, called the prominent Jains of Ahmedabad and conveyed the message of Akbar.
Emperor Akbar has curiosity about religions and is an admirer of virtues. Your contact with
such a person can be very fruitful.
Send Heer Vijaya Suri to Agra with
full royal honour and decorum including elephants, palanquins,
horses etc.
Appreciating the request of the sangh and the usefulness of the mission, Suriji left for Agra.
