That quality of the soul, which appears when the Class 1. karma is removed, is unlimited knowledge (omniscience). When the Vedaniya or class 3 karma is removed, then the quality of the soul which appears is permanent bliss ; the vedaniya karma obscures the bliss quality of the soul. When the class 4 or mohaniya karma is worked out, then there is always right belief and right conduct, we always form right beliefs and always act rightly. This point follows in proper order after the details of the remaining classes of karma.
Subdivisions of Class 5. This karma is called Ayuh karma. It determines how long we live in a particular body; it may be compared with fetters; it prevents the realisation of the spiritual continuous life, and after this karma is removed, the soul lives in its own body and not in any physical or karmic body. There are four subdivisions of the ayuh karma, namely :
1. That karma by reason of which the person lives for a length of time (it may be a billion years) in the pleasurable condition, known as the Devas, having a fine subtle body.
2. That karma by reason of which the person lives for a length of time (it may be a billion years) in the lower subtle body condition, in which there is no pleasure at all; but pain all the time. It is cllaed the Naraka condition.
